Road fatalities have decreased by more than 50% during the period 2002-2013, leading to 27.894 less road fatalities (2013) in comparison to 2002. Six countries ( ES, LV, SK, EE, LT, PT) have reached reduction of more than 60% for the period 2001-2013. The performance of Greece in fatalities reduction is ranked 20th.
