The Symposium on Future Road Infrastructure Challenges was organised by the European Union Road Federation (ERF) and took place with great success in Brussels on 18 June 2014. It was a highly dynamic and interactive forum in which the current challenges faced by the sector were discussed by the more than 100 experts, decision makers and stakeholders.  The ERF event was structured around five principal themes: safety, sustainability, ITS, financing and innovation.
