The Road Safety Unit of DG MOVE of the European Commission issued the Road Safety Vademecum, in order to provide an overview of the latest road safety data and the main road safety developments in the European Union. It is based on data from the EU road accident database (CARE), presenting the first provisional figures reported for 2013, where available, complemented with the final detailed data for 2012.
