Technology foresight in transportation in Greece of 2021 comprises part of the overall investigation of the technology foresight, which was carried out by groups of specialists for the General Secretariat for Research and Technology. The relevant transportation Working Party made use of established procedures of wide deliberation both for the analytical inventory of characteristics of the up-to-date evolution of transportation in Greece and abroad and for the processing of analytical and complete scenarios of evolution in the transportation sector up to 2021. The analysis results led to the synthesis of the technology foresight in transportation in Greece of 2021, which can constitute a primary policy support tool for the development of transportation systems during the next twenty years.
