“Conductor – Fleet and traffic management systems for conducting future cooperative mobility” of the Horizon Europe framework programme on transport research of the European Commission (2022-2025)

Digitalisation will connect vehicles between them and with the road infrastructure, improving traffic safety and efficiency. The EU-funded CONDUCTOR project will design, integrate and demonstrate advanced, high‐level traffic and fleet management to allow efficient and globally optimal transport of passengers and goods and ensure seamless multi‐modality and interoperability. The project will build upon advanced fleet and traffic management solutions in the CCAM ecosystem and develop leading-edge simulation models and tools empowered by machine learning and data fusion. CONDUCTOR will upgrade existing technologies increasing the capabilities of transport authorities and operators, allowing a higher level of safety and flexible, responsive, and centralised control leading to less urban traffic and congestion and less pollution.
