“Traffic and environmental impact from taxi traffic in Athens” carried out for the Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works (1999-2000)

This research project deals with the investigation of traffic and environmental impacts of TAXI traffic in Athens area. On the basis of the analysis of the present situation and the estimation of the traffic impact, alternative measures will be proposed. The evaluation of these measures will take into consideration the traffic and environmental parameters on one hand and the socioeconomic on the other in view of selecting the optimum solution, which will be accompanied by an analytical description of the measures and the methods for the implementation and the information of the citizens.
