This research project deals with the analysis and efficiency assessment of road safety and environmental measures applied in different countries for the improvement of road safety level. More precisely, this research project comprises screening of efficiency assessment – experiences and identification of problems and factors that prevent the use of efficiency assessment methodologies. Suggestions of ways in which barriers and shortcomings can be overcome are made in order to develop and improve techniques for efficiency assessment. The applicability of developed methodologies is tested in “real” situations and an implementation plan of the results is developed.
