The aim of this project is the collection of specific, not available road safety data in Greece. Another aim of the project is the management and the utilisation of the collected data in order to be used for the establishment of road safety countermeasures and the evaluation of their results. The data will be provided to the interested services of the Ministry of Transport as well as to international organisations that request data from the Ministry. The collection of the data will permit the specification of the potential effect of particular countermeasures to road safety in Greece, by further analysing the relevant data before and after their implementation period. The utilisation of the data that will be collected is expected to contribute in the improvement of the current situation in road safety in Greece.
