The topic of the proposed research involves intelligent transport systems and in particular the incorporation of the parameters that describe the changes of driving behaviour in road networks in which intelligent transport systems are being operated. Hence, the parameters that involve system operation as well as driving behaviour will be defined. Within this framework the definition and classification of system operation and of the potential changes of driving behaviour when using such systems, as well as the description of these parameters in such a way so that they can be incorporated into traffic simulation models will take place.
