The objective of this project is the development of a manual for the safe driving of older drivers. The manual will contain recommendations for older drivers in relation to safe driving practices as well as information regarding changes in driving according to age. Based on this manual, a special brief informative leaflet will be developped. The leaflet will include in brief, the basic subjects of the manual and it will be distributed in mass. In the last stage of the project, the acceptance of the manual by a sample of older drivers will be examined. A special procedure which will ensure the accuracy of the results will be followed on this purpose. Based on the results all the necessary modifications and improvements will be applied to both the manual and the informative leaflet.
