The main objective of BE-SAFE is to develop and test in Belarus, two 1st level University Masters (60 ECTS) according to the Bologna process standards, one for Engineering faculties and one for Economics faculties. Local Academics will be supported in defining and delivering the Masters with a “Train the Trainer” method. In addition, each local university will be provided with a laboratory dedicated to road safety. The importance of research in the field of road safety and of managing road safety policy according to the evidence base will be disseminated through the newsletters, events workshops and seminars. Finally, a national coordinated network of Universities, public bodies, private companies and NGOs on road safety involving local universities in the wider European network of research centres on road safety will be set up.
